PICKLE PARLOUR X SCHO STUDIO

Pickle Parlour is an independent fashion brand with a fast-growing social media following.  Under my own brand name, Scho Studio, I created the original illustration of a Pickle in the Martini Glass as I felt this encompassed their ethos of having fun and expressing yourself.

This initial design was printed on to t-shirts and sold via their website.  This design has since expanded to other colour-ways, garments and products.  And the initial Pickle character has been adapted to different scenarios for each new season.

This on-going collaboration has so far spanned 3 seasons and is currently available from concession stands in two stores – Atika, Shoreditch and Neightbourhood Store, Worthing.

For each collection we organise and style campaign shoots to generate content for social media and the Pickle Parlour website.  The most recent, summer 2020, I created a "stay-cation" concept for the campaign photoshoot, for which I photographed, filmed and edited.  The final film was edited into multiple videos intended for Instagram’s Reels feature.  The aspect-ratio was also intended for smart phone use opposed to traditional film ratio.  Other campaign shoots have included spray-painting, or “graffiti-ing” a wall in South-East London for the backdrop.

Whilst working with Pickle Parlour, I have designed new branding, such as hangtags and thank you cards for both collaborative and solo Pickle Parlour items.  As well as creating graphics for both their website and social media.
