Togo the Lizard

 

Client:  Private Commission

Brief:  Design a birthday card

​

I chose to base the illustration around the recipient's pet lizard.  The process

began by sketching the shape of the lizard by hand, then finalising the process

in Adobe Illustrator.

​

The typeface "happy" was inspired by the lizard's tongue, and like the lizard,

was hand sketched, then rendered digitally after.

 

Both the client and recipient were very happy with the end result.
